Terms of Service

StageMirror is operated by deepfai Inc. (“we”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• You must be at least 13 years old, and you are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.
• You keep ownership of everything you record. You grant us only the permission needed to store your recordings and run the analysis you asked for.
• Do not record other people without their consent, and do not upload anything unlawful or that you do not have the right to record.

• StageMirror Pro is $18.99 per month or $149.99 per year. The free plan remains available and does not expire.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and payment is taken at the start of each new period.
• Who charges you depends on where you subscribed. Buy on the web and Stripe takes the payment and we are the merchant. Buy inside the iPhone or Android app and Apple or Google takes the payment, holds the billing relationship and issues the receipts. We never see your card either way.
• Cancel where you bought it. A web subscription is cancelled from the billing page. An in-app subscription can only be cancelled in that store — on iPhone under Settings → your name → Subscriptions, on Android in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. We cannot cancel a store subscription for you; Apple and Google do not give us that ability. Do it at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the next one is charged.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Neither does deleting the app. Cancel it in the store first, or it keeps renewing. Cancelling stops the next renewal either way; your Pro access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
• We do not pro-rate partial periods. If you were charged in error, email us and we will put it right — though for a purchase made in the App Store or Play Store the refund itself has to come from that store, and we may have to send you to them for the money.
• If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies to your renewal. A price change to a store subscription also has to be accepted in that store before it takes effect.

StageMirror measures things like filler-word rate, speaking pace and pause frequency from your audio, and estimates eye contact, posture and gesture activity from video. The camera-derived numbers are labelled estimates throughout the product because they are: they depend on lighting, framing and how much of you is in shot.

Coaching is generated by an AI model. We verify every claim it makes against your actual transcript and discard the ones it cannot support, but it is still guidance, not professional advice, and we do not promise any particular outcome.

• You can delete your account at any time, in the app or at /account/delete. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. If you subscribed inside the app, cancel that subscription in the App Store or Play Store first — see above.
• We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully or in a way that endangers the service, and will tell you why where we can.

The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, deepfai Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
