Delete your account
- In the app: open Account (the initials in the top corner of the home screen) and tap Delete account at the bottom.
- On the web: stagemirror.ai/account/delete, which also explains exactly what is removed.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there first (see below).
Subscriptions
- Restore a purchase on a new phone or after reinstalling: in the app, open Account and tap Restore purchases. It is also on the Pro screen.
- Change or cancel where you subscribed. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: the Play Store, under Payments & subscriptions. Apple and Google handle in-app billing, so we cannot cancel a store subscription for you.
- Refunds for an in-app purchase are issued by Apple or Google. Email us if you were charged in error and we will help.
Common questions
- What do I need to record a take?
- A phone or computer with a camera and a microphone. The app asks for both before your first take. The iOS Simulator has no camera, so recording needs a real device.
- How long does analysis take?
- A short take is usually under a minute; a full three-minute take is usually two to three minutes. You can leave the app while it runs — the result waits under Recent takes.
- What is sent to OpenAI?
- The audio of a take and its transcript, for transcription and coaching, and only after you agree to it for that take. Video frames stay on our servers. See the privacy policy.
- I forgot my password.
- Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we will email you a link to choose a new one.
- A take says “Not analyzed”.
- It was never sent for analysis: either its upload stopped before it finished, or it was kept after that month’s analyses had been used. Record it again; a take only uploads while the app is open.
